Capital Project Management

Our professional and specialist project management teams partner with your in-house team to simplify complex projects. Our approach sees the TEG Project Management Team based onsite, operating alongside your in-house engineering and management teams. It’s an effective, cost-efficient way to manage and deliver capital projects, without needing to hire staff or put pressure on your company resources.
Capital Project Management

We work with food and beverage manufacturers to drive capital projects through the early technical and financial development of the procurement methodology and project team set-up. We specialise in brownfield developments where new processes and equipment are successfully integrated into an existing facility. We also manage greenfield projects.

Our team selects, appoints, and manages food and beverage equipment suppliers, as well as consultant teams with specialist expertise on multi-disciplinary projects, including civil, structural, electrical and automation design specialists. Our safety engineering division TEG Risk can provide HAZOP, machine safety, hazardous areas and combustible dust consulting.

We help clients develop new processes or improve existing processes by reducing cost, improving quality, and reducing waste. We use value engineering, innovation and LEAN processes to drive lower cost solutions.

We provide cost estimation, cost planning, and cost management to control projects within the project budget and provide real-time cost status reporting.

Our engineers and project managers undertake project feasibility studies, and prepare, review, and analyse project programmes to ensure everything is on time in an efficient manner.

Our engineers are well-versed in the preparation of tender and contract documents, and have specialist expertise in FIDIC, NZS 3910, NZS 3916 and Design-Build. We manage payments, variations, scope changes, claims, and contract correspondence.

TEG Projects have partnered with extensive notable food and beverage corporations for the management of their projects such as:

Project managing a line replacer for a leading liquor brand and a baking factory redevelopment for George Weston Foods.

The benefits of outsourced project management services with TEG Projects are numerous, some of which include:
