The TEG Projects story
In 2005, having previously formed a group of multidisciplinary professionals to provide Goodman Fielder with the shared services of capital projects, process development, packaging development, machine safety, electrical safety and asset management services, Ross Norgrove founded TEG Projects. He’d found what the food and beverage industries were missing; a dedicated project management company able to provide an outsourced, flexible and professional project resource. Ross continues to lead TEG Projects as the Managing Director today.
A Great Start
After a successful launch with Goodman Fielder, TEG quickly became the preferred supplier of project engineering to Pepsico, Bluebird New Zealand. The word was out – New Zealand and Australian food and beverage companies now had access to affordable project management services with a reputation for high quality and successful project outcomes.
Branching Out TEG Projects
In order to better serve a growing customer base of multinational food and beverage companies, a Brisbane office was added to the fold in 2008. The Tauranga office soon followed, along with Wellington, Hamilton and Christchurch. In 2019 a Sydney branch of TEG Projects was established. During this phenomenal growth, TEG Projects has continued to build a superb team of industry- trained, practical, food and beverage project engineering professionals.
Machine Safety
In 2011, with the increasing industry focus on machine safety, Ross formed TEG Risk and Sustainability with Hamish Baker, to provide professional machine safety engineering consulting services. Hamish’s experience as a Senior Health & Safety Manager has been invaluable in developing a pragmatic and practical approach to machine safety and TEG Risk has become an award-winning, leading provider of machine safety consulting engineering advice to industry. The MinRisk machine risk assessment app has been developed by TEG Risk and has become the industry standard for safety focussed New Zealand manufacturing companies.
