Jason Simmonds
Project Manager
Jason Simmonds is a Project Manager based in the Bay of Plenty. With over three decades of experience in engineering and project management, Jason specialises in leading complex capital and infrastructure projects from conception through to commissioning and handover. His practical approach, technical expertise, and deep understanding of manufacturing environments make him a trusted partner in delivering projects that meet performance, safety, and budgetary goals.
Before joining TEG Projects, Jason spent more than a decade at Comvita NZ Ltd, where he led numerous high-value projects across production, site development, and infrastructure. His work has spanned large-scale site developments, renewable energy installations, and process improvement initiatives. Jason brings extensive experience in design, procurement, installation, and construction management, along with strong leadership and stakeholder coordination skills that ensure smooth project delivery.
Outside of work Jason enjoys the outdoors with fishing and camping top of the family list.

- NZCE – Mechanical, Auckland Institute of Technology (1995)
