Ken Camden
Ken has more than 28 years experience in the timber industry in the field of industrial machinery fault finding/maintenance, electrical design, PLC control systems, and safety control systems.
This experience has enabled Ken to become proficient in the machine electrical supply infrastructure, switchboard/MCC design, the PLC controls and the safety control system including physical guarding design and implementation. Most recently as the Electrical Project Manager for Juken New Zealand in their National Engineering team.
Ken spent 12 years volunteering as an emergency ambulance service Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) with St John and Wellington Free Ambulance.
Ken is also a member of the New Zealand Society for Safety Engineering (NZSSE), a Technical Group of Engineering New Zealand.
Qualifications include:
- Advanced Trade Certificate & Registered Electrician
- Certified Machine Safety Expert TUV Nord (CMSE)
Specialist fields of activity are:
- Machine safety risk assessment, physical guarding design, and safety control system implementation
- Electrical design, PLC control systems, and industrial machinery fault finding/maintenance
