Craig McGhee
Project Manager
Craig McGhee is one of our Hawkes Bay Project Managers, bringing over three decades of hands-on engineering and leadership experience across food manufacturing, packaging, and industrial operations. Our clients are getting to know Craig for his practical, solutions-focused approach to complex project environments, ensuring safe, efficient, and cost-effective outcomes for clients.
Before joining TEG, Craig held senior engineering and management roles with FMCG companies including Ziwi Petfoods NZ, Saputo Dairy Australia, Chicken of the sea, American Samoa and Kraft Heinz NZ , where he led multimillion-dollar infrastructure and capital works projects. His deep understanding of site operations, maintenance systems, and project delivery makes him an invaluable partner to clients looking for reliability and technical precision from concept through to commissioning.
Outside of work Craig has an interest in travel, classic cars, gardening and endurance motorsport racing.
Qualifications include:
- Tradesman Fitter and Turner, Trade Certificate
- Permit Issuer, Working at Heights, Hot Work, Fire Extinguisher, Basic First Aid – NZQA
- Boiler Control, Boiler Operator, Chemical Use in Boiler Systems, Boiler Safety Systems – NZQA
- NZ Diploma, Applied Business Administration – Eastern Institute of Technology
- Registered Electrician
- NZ Certificate of Engineering – Wellington Polytechnic
