Jachin Rowe

Project Manager

Jachin brings a wealth of experience in capital project management, pharmaceutical compliance, and engineering innovation to his new role as Project Manager at TEG Projects. With a background spanning pharmaceutical and food manufacturing sectors, he has successfully delivered large-scale projects including laboratory installations, clean-room renovations, production line upgrades, and packaging solutions. His expertise lies in managing complex, multi-disciplinary teams and ensuring projects meet strict GMP, FDA, and safety legislation requirements while driving operational efficiency.

Jachin is passionate about process improvement, safety, and compliance and has a proven track record of delivering results that balance technical excellence with business outcomes. At TEG Projects, Jachin looks forward to applying his skills to support clients across New Zealand and Australia, helping them achieve successful project outcomes from concept through to completion.

On the weekends Jachin likes to Garden, watch sports, snowboard and tinker/make things in the garage

Qualifications include:

  • Masters of Intellectual Property (IP),  University of Auckland Law School
  • Good Automated Manufacturing Practice, International Society for Pharmaceutical Engineering (ISPE)
  • Certified Machinery Safety Expert (CMSE), TÜV Nord
  • Advanced Hygienic Design, European Hygienic Engineering Design Group (EHEDG)
  • Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering (Hons), University of Auckland

Specialist fields of activity are:

  • Delivery of end-to-end lab installations (e.g., Autoclave and Microbiology labs).
  • Expertise in clean-room renovations and bottle packaging line design to meet GMP and safety legislation.
  • Strong background in FDA and GMP compliance, including barrier systems, cleaning procedures, and process validations.
  • Significant experience in food contact and pharmaceutical compliance and managing critical documentation portfolios.
  • Managed large-scale machinery installation projects throughout New Zealand, each worth upwards of $300K.
  • Oversight of risk assessments, compliance declarations, and engineering documentation for machinery and food safety.
