Wayne Bickers

Senior Project Manager

Wayne is an experienced and qualified Professional Project Manager (PMP) with a strong track record of delivering complex, high-value projects across New Zealand and Australia. He joined TEG Projects in 2025, with over a decade of experience in the food processing industry. Wayne has seamlessly navigated roles as a Project Manager, Project Engineer, and Business Analyst—adapting to the evolving needs of each organisation.

Throughout his career, Wayne has successfully led projects valued up to $20 million and played a key role in larger projects exceeding $300 million. His passion lies in driving business process improvements through the effective application of tools and techniques, often drawing innovative solutions from diverse industries to deliver exceptional project outcomes.

Wayne’s broad expertise spans project planning, execution, monitoring, and closeout, with a focus on optimising performance, fostering cross-functional collaboration, and ensuring stakeholder alignment. His ability to blend traditional project management methodologies with agile and lean principles makes him a versatile leader in dynamic project environments.

When he’s not working, Wayne and his Partner Tess are usually found either spending time with friends and family, working around the house and garden, walking Ted the dog, or exploring the country on their motorbikes. Wayne also chases around after his two boys, Martin (16) and Kerwin (13) ensuring they live their best lives. 

Wayne and Tess enjoy spending time on the family farm in Pōrangahau, and visiting friends and family in Tauranga.

Qualifications include:

  • Project Management Professional (PMP)
  • Postgraduate Diploma in Business Administration (PGDipBusAdmin)
  • Bachelor of Science in Technology (BScTech)
